Lecture

Drew is a creator, writer, and producer with multiple releases. He also builds one off props and gimmicks for many working magicians. His philosophy leans towards easy-to-perform methods that deliver clear, powerful effects - expect practical, workable material you'll actually use.

The lecture covers a variety of effects, methods and routines. He will also explore principles and explore some of the thinking behind routine structure, narrative threads and creativity.

He teaches:

• His version of Charming Chinese Challenge with original moves and curated handlings.

• The sandwich routine from his Bricked release

• A practical tarot routine.

• His favourite propless EDC routine called ‘Tippy Tippy’, a powerful pseudo hypnosis routine.

• A routine using Rebox - his 3D-printable gimmick designed to aid ACAAN routines

Drew will also demonstrate Deadly Connection, his latest release with Alakazam Magic, a self-working fooler that uses a method most magicians won't have seen.

The highlight is a collaborative Card to Shoe workshop - Drew teaches his unique handling, refined over 20 years, then the group works together to build a full multi-phase routine from scratch. Expect a deep conversation about structure, blocking, and performance choices.
